There are no geographical restrictions, but speaking English is essential.

Playing opportunities
To qualify for the Marshall Islands National Teams you need to hit one of the following criteria:
- Born in the Republic of the Marshall Islands
- Have a parent who was born in the Republic of the Marshall Islands
- Have a grandparent who was born in the Republic of the Marshall Islands
- Spent at least 2 continuous years living in the Republic of the Marshall Islands, whilst under the age of 18
- Spent at least 5 continuous years living in the Republic of the Marshall Islands, whilst 18 years or older
Please do not complete our eligibility form unless you tick one of the above criteria.
Play or coach soccer in the Marshall Islands
We do have pay-to-play and pay-to-coach opportunities.
Marshall Islands Soccer League: We aim to launch our 1st ever domestic league later this year. There are limited spots open to overseas players. Learn more here.
Marshall Islands Coaching Placements: To help develop the sport in our nation, we are welcoming overseas coaches to spend time in the Marshall Islands to grow our schools and adults recreational programmes. Find out more about our coaching placement programme here.
