The match of
our lives

United on the frontline of the battle against climate change. Support the Marshall Islands Soccer Federation (the last nation on Earth without a soccer team) as we turn the tide to create a sporting legacy.

About us

How do you start an international soccer team?

The Marshall Islands Soccer Federation was formed in 2021 with the goal of creating a soccer culture in the nation. The catch? We are the only country on Earth that has never played an international soccer match.

Schools & Youth

We’re on a mission to get every child on the islands playing soccer by providing quality coaching in schools.

Worldwide Team

Due to climate change many Marshallese people have left the islands. We want to connect with all our Marshallese family.

Engaged Community

We want to create a national team our country can be proud of. To provide opportunities for our people to compete.

6 ways we’re growing the game: Our roadmap

We’ve developed a roadmap with the intention of being a FIFA member nation by 2030. Until then we rely on the support of soccer fans around the world to help us grow the game.

01.

Youth Development & Coaching

It all starts with the next generation. They are the driving force behind the soccer movement in this country. Find out how we are developing youth soccer through regular training, school curriculum and coach education.

02.

Men’s and Women’s Teams & Development

In addition to regular open training sessions to develop soccer skills, we are launching Futsal and Football leagues in Majuro. By getting more people playing we aim to have both Men’s and Women’s national teams by 2025.

03.

Marshallese Overseas Diaspora

Are you a Marshallese citizen, or related to Marshallese citizen and living overseas? We would like to hear from you. We will be holding events in the US, including player recruitment and community engagement.

04.

Contribute to our GoFundMe

This project wouldn’t be possible without the support of the worldwide soccer community. We are currently self-funded and rely on the generosity of donations to fund our activities.

05.

Official MISF Mechandise

We want to raise awareness of our nation, and the challenges we face on a daily basis. All profits from our official merchandise goes directly to supporting grassroots projects on the islands.

06.

Become a Partner & Sponsorship

An incredible opportunity for brands and organizations to align themselves with a once-in-a-lifetime project. We have a variety of packages available to suit most budgets.

Developing soccer in the pacific

We are on a mission to not only create a national team but to also build a sporting legacy whilst educating the world about the Marshall Islands.

Our Partners

The progress of this project wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our sponsors and partners. Find out who they are and how they have helped the Soccer Federation. We also have more opportunities available.

Climate Emergency

Our project isn’t just about bringing football to the nation. We want to raise awareness of the catastrophic situation facing us, and campaign for changes that will reverse climate change before it’s too late.

Who Are We?

The Marshall Islands is a small nation of just 60,000 people in the Pacific Ocean, located between Hawaii and Australia. Made up of dozens of islands and coral reef atolls, the majority of it’s citizens live in the capital, Majuro.

Share our story. We aim to be a FIFA member by 2030, with Men’s and Women’s teams competing internationally. We want every child in the Marshall islands to have the opportunity to play soccer regularly.

Can you help us?

Our organization is completely self-funded. Help us to provide opportunities to young people by contributing to our fundraiser.
